My heart is full of you, O God

My heart is full of Father

So full of love and goodness

I want to serve You all the harder

But harder still, is to sit and wait

Your grace and mercy crush me

‘Til surrender is all I can do

And only let You love me

.

I would not have You take my will

Just make Yours all the stronger

There’s nothing that You’d have me do

But wait a little longer

Now worldly voices fade away

And Your heart, I understood

Then trusting You came easily

In knowing You are good.
